Finding A Good, Cheap Holiday

You don’t have to have a ton of money to take a vacation. If your bank account is running low, it doesn’t mean you have to change your plans. You may not be jet setting to Paris and buying designer clothes or staying at a 5 star hotel in a tropical paradise, but you can still take your vacation, get away from your familiar surroundings for a while and enjoy yourself. Look for places that aren’t very far away from where you live so it won’t be such a long drive or take up too much gas.
Examples could be cities with an amusement park or indoor aquarium which children will love. Or find a hotel in the country and spend your days hiking, going on picnics, rollerblading, biking, golfing, or just enjoying the fresh country air and taking pictures. Sightseeing and looking around interesting spots is always free.
If you make your way to a lake, you can boat, fish, and water ski. If you find a hotel with a pool, you can also have fun swimming. The most important part of your holiday is having a good time with your family and getting a change from your everyday routine.
A good way to save money is to bring along your own food and drinks. Pack a cooler with plenty of food and drinks. Bring along bottled water, juice, and soda so you don’t have to buy any on your vacation. Bring along supplies to make sandwiches and have snacks too. This alone will save you a good amount of money.
You can find decent priced hotels to stay in a few nights and enjoy any activities and sightseeing during the day. If you like biking, bring your bikes, if you like tennis, bring your rackets and tennis balls. And don’t forget to bring a camera to take pictures of your holiday for memories. You don’t have to spend a lot to have a good time or just relax away from home.
